I purchased this CD while visiting New Orleans. I like the folk music of that region. This is a CD to definitely lift your spirits on any day. If you enjoy Cajun cuisine (which I do), hearing this music brings back memories of the food you tasted while there and the music that was played in the street markets and cafes. On the critical side--you may become somewhat weary of the same beat that accompanies every song. I like the folk music it represents, though. Makes you want to play it again every so often.
